Run Club For Moms

If you're thinking about running a fall race (or just running at all) and need some help getting started...look no further! Often times local run clubs aren't ideal for moms. They meet at bedtime. You can't bring a stroller. There's no one that looks like you or can relate to your particular set of running and time management challenges. We get it!

Enter FIT4MOM Run Club and our newest Coach, Katie Werts!

She's a local mom to 2 little girls and no stranger to the challenges of fitting in workouts around their schedules and her WFH gig, getting back to running after pregnancy, and more. Starting in mid-September, she'll be leading our Run Club+ group in a 6-week 5K training to prepare for Raleigh's Day of the Dead 5K on October 29th. It will be all paces, all levels, and lots of fun!

To get us started this summer with two free casual Greenway run/walk meetups with bonus playground time to follow. They are totally free and open to all...all paces, all stages of motherhood, with strollers or without (but please leave bikes, scooters and pets at home). Get your body warmed up, take a lap around the lake, and finish with a cool down stretch and some social time.
