Moms are some soft-hearted, generous folks. This, I know for sure. Over the past 7 years I've seen our moms donate money, pajamas, books, diapers, canned goods, toys and their time to local charities. We even have a robust Meal Train program to support our moms who have babies or medical issues. When there is a need, moms rush in to fill it. This is a beautiful picture of community and I'm proud to be raising my children in the heart of it. To top it off, there is joy and deep satisfaction in the giving ... maybe even more than in the receiving!
This week we're coming together to #Sweat4Texas with a community HIIT class for moms (aka Body Back) at the North Hills Farmers Market on Saturday, 9/9 at 8am. Class is free with a suggested donation of $10. You can bring cash, checks, or make a donation at youcaring.com/sweat4texas (show us your email donation reciept for class entry). If you have a Body Back 10-Class Pass this class will not be deducted from your class pass. All donations will go to serve FIT4MOM families who are still drying out after Hurricane Harvey.
All are welcome though this is a moms-only class (please make childcare arrangements) and our HIIT workouts are not appropriate for expecting moms due to their higher intensity.
Can you come? Please RSVP so we know to look out for you!
Need a stroller fitness workout instead? We have classes that morning at Joyner Park and the NCMA at 10am!
